Description
Sourced from the fertile slopes of Mount Elgon, this Impala Natural G1 lot is produced by smallholder farmers cultivating coffee at elevations of 1,900–2,100 masl. The cherries are carefully handpicked and dried in the sun on raised beds, allowing the fruit sugars to concentrate and deepen the sweetness in the cup.
The cup opens with rich raisin-like fruit notes, followed by a red honey sweetness that adds warmth and depth. As it develops, dark chocolate tones emerge, providing structure and a rounded body.
The overall profile is sweet, full-bodied, and fruit-forward, with a long and comforting finish. Suitable for both filter brewing and espresso, where its sweetness and depth can be fully expressed.
